I have my link, now how can I get people to click on it?
This is the crux of affiliate marketing. Once you crack this you are on to a winner! Unfortunately marketing isn't an exact science and something working one week may not work the next week!
As far as I see it these are the options you have with sharing your link:
1. Dig deep and pay to advertise your product
Whilst this can be expensive, a well targeted advertisement with a high conversion rate of people who click to people who go on to buy can prove to be very lucrative! As long as you're making a profit after advertising fees this is a highly scalable model and can lead to earning the big bucks!

Who can I advertise with?
There are plenty of companies out there willing to take your cash to share your link but I will list the main ones below:
- Google Ads
- Facebook
- Twitter
- Reddit
These are the few I have used to push my links in the past with a fair bit of success! They can be expensive and you have to tweak your audience constantly to try optimise your ad and ensure you are getting to the right people. Please keep an eye on budget with these as it can quickly add up if you're not careful!
2. Build a Website/Blog/Forum
Whilst not as quick as posting an advertisement, building your own platform can be a great way to share your link. Often websites will review/compare products and share a link to that product on say Amazon at the bottom. That is where they make their money!
Websites can take a long time to make their way on to page one of Google/Bing so you have to be patient with this one, it isn't easy and you will have to tweak your site to conform with Google/Bing's standards. (Read up on SEO if you're interested)
Of course if you succeed in getting your site in front of the right eyes you are only paying to host the site so it is considerably cheaper than paying to advertise your product all the time!
3. Social Media Posting
I'm not so sure on this one. It's a good way to get the odd click but very hard to scale. I have seen some "Deal Hunter" groups on Facebook that have a good following, but not many that are getting a great deal of interaction.
Another thing to be aware of is that social media platforms such as your Facebook/Twitter can flag you as a spammer if you share your links too often. When marked as a spammer your account will either be disabled or ghosted. (Ghosted means that your account will look the same as it always has, but the platform you are using will likely hide your posts from other users without your knowledge. You will notice no one is seeing your posts, this is why!)
4. YouTube
If you have read through my Matched Betting Guide you will have seen my Matched Betting Video Tutorial. This was my way of getting my link out there. I invested time into creating a short tutorial of a skill that I had learnt. I was adding my value by teaching in return for traffic through my link.

5. Local Outlets
- Newspapers
- Advertising Boards
- Local Training - Got a skill? Train people and get them to sign up through your link!
